Many rave about the use of probiotics to manage their severe lactose intolerance - so they can have that sip of milk, or bite of ice cream, without feeling ill. Others note that they've found their cholesterol lowered after using probiotics, because it helps break down the bile in your gut.
Yet more people praise probiotics for improving the immune system, as they may protect you from pathogens that can cause serious harm. It's because the probiotics basically compete with other bacteria for growth in your body, and they can push the negative bacteria away.
